Send the job and we will come back with scope and timing before any drafting starts. The faster route is a complete first message, because most delays at this stage are missing information rather than capacity.

Share your AHJ, files, and target date for a fast scope and timeline.

Why installers choose Athol Energy

Built for production crews

Packages carry the labels, clearances, and notes a field supervisor can build from, not just drawings that look finished on screen.

Explicit scope

You know what is included, what the AHJ typically asks for, and whether a PE stamp is required or optional.

Predictable capacity

Retainers and volume lanes reserve drafting bandwidth before weather windows and sales spikes hit.

What to send with your request

Five things cover most jobs: the site survey or clear site photos, the equipment list, the AHJ name, the utility, and the week the crew needs to be on the roof.

If there are HOA rules, zoning constraints, a historic district, or a known structural question, say so in the first message. Those are the items that change scope after drafting has already started.

For a resubmittal, send the AHJ comment letter itself. It usually names the problem more precisely than a summary can.

What happens next

You get a scope and a timeline, including whether a PE seal is required or optional for that jurisdiction. Incomplete intakes get a short checklist instead of a stalled draft.

Once the scope is agreed, one desk owns the job through drafting, PE coordination, and the interconnection file, up to PTO (permission to operate).

Where we support projects

Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut are the core desk, plus New York and Pennsylvania. Local permitting notes are collected under service areas.

Practical FAQs

Can you rush a job? Rush lanes exist when a failed inspection or a utility deadline puts revenue at risk. Tell us the date you are protecting.

Can we see a sample first? Yes. Ask for a redacted sample set before sending live customer files.

Do you work with homeowners? No. We work for installers, EPCs, and developers.

How we protect install dates

Failed inspections idle trucks and burn trust. Review here focuses on constructability and checklist completeness before you submit.

Assumptions are documented early so responsibility stays clear between survey, design, and field. The goal is approval on the first or second pass.
